Created specifically for the Heritage Trail the development of materials will address the local history element of the National Curriculum but the templates and rational will be made available Nationally for all schools to support the development of local materials.

The Curriculum Project will begin during the Autumn of 2023 with planning work involving classroom teachers and school specialists working with the School of Humanities at Keele University. The Heritage Trail has been able to secure funding for staff time and classroom materials in order to facilitate this exciting element of the project.
