Frank Butter On BBC Radio Shropshire

Stories To Listen To

This is a recording of a radio interview with Frank Butter, which dates back some decades. We’re not sure exactly where it came from – possibly BBC Radio Shropshire – or exactly when, but if you know, we’d be very grateful to find out more about it.

It’s Possible that the interviewer it may be a reporter from the early years after BBC Radio Shropshire launch in 1985 called Rosie Greenham.

We’re grateful to Tim Page, Acting Executive Producer at BBC Radio Shropshire for helping us to try and identify the origins of this recording.

Add a Story to the Collection

An important part of our project is to capture the stories and reminiscences of people who live here.  Volunteers who have been trained in taking oral histories, will capture these and the voices of the generations will be captured and held for all to enjoy on the website.
