We have had this wonderful old video of the Wellington/Market Drayton branch line brought to our attention. It describes, from the point of view of the train journey, the route of trains which used to pass through Adderley before the line was closed.
If you don’t want to watch the whole video just forward the film to 4min 25 seconds when we see Audlem station followed by Cox Bank and then Adderley. A rare glimpse of our village as it was when it played host to an active railway line.
