Description

Nurse Lilian St Clair Phaup sitting on a chair outside Raven House. She was the only trained nurse on site caring for the wounded soldiers. She continued her work when Raven House became the Edith Cavell Rest Home for Nurses. She lived in Adderley til her death in 1928 and was largely responsible for the Adderley Girl Guide Movement
