Additional information provided by Andy: My great grandfathers were lock keepers on Adderley locks. 1851 census John Williams with Mary and 1871 census his son James and Ann Williams. James was about 24 and born I think at Adderley lock house. They lived lock side so assume there was a lock keepers house there.
